Criterion HPS helps customers overcome the most pressing enterprise challenges related to space, mobility, power and cooling. The company is among the first to market with green optimized solution servers that provide massive processing, require less space and use a fraction of the power compared to existing solutions.

Criterion HPS, a sister company of Criterion Systems, entered the high performance solutions arena in 2007 as part of a classified government research project. The customer engaged Criterion to build a system that provided significant performance in a mobile, light-weight, low-power unit. Light enough to be deployed in aerial vehicles, the resulting mobile device allowed true data center level processing to be deployed into the field.

Criterion provides high-density, multi-threaded, high-efficiency servers that deliver performance and efficiencies for mission critical workloads at a fraction of the costs of existing architectures. The company’s specialized appliance solutions are built on industry leading components such as Intel’s Nehalem micro architecture and Red Hat’s open source technologies. Criterion HPS works with more than 25 commercial software providers and mission-critical large government systems to develop an optimized server platform delivering unprecedented price/performance ratios.
