President and CEO

Mr. Sharma is president and CEO of Criterion HPS. A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Sharma has enjoyed a highly successful 32-year career in the information technology industry. He is a proven, successful industry leader with exceptional ability to manage strategic, high margin and explosive growth. Mr. Sharma has managed numerous mergers and acquisitions, and is skilled at building strong, motivated teams and corporate cultures that achieve exceptional results with very low employee turnover.

As President and CEO of Criterion Systems, Mr. Sharma has guided the company’s strategic direction and rapid growth. Inc. Magazine recently recognized Criterion Systems as the 10th fastest growing private accompany in the country and the fastest growing government services company.

Prior to founding Criterion Systems, Mr. Sharma founded and served as President and CEO of CNSI, a government technology services and solutions company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sharma held senior level positions at INET, EDS and Genasys Corporation. He started his career at Coopers & Lyrand as a Senior Systems Auditor for large private and publicly held companies.

He is also the founder and CEO of Abolish Child Trafficking (ACT) Now Inc., a humanitarian initiative that focuses on combating child trafficking in the Washington metropolitan area.

Mr. Sharma obtained a B.S. in Physics with Honors from Delhi University (India) and a M.S. in Finance from the London School of Economics. He is a Certified Chartered Accountant from England.
